New outlets

New outlets can always be added, this is a popular request due to the nature of finlock gutters to pool water. All new outlets should be directed to a suitable drain or soak away.

Facia blocks

An increasing problem with 'Royston' style finlock guttering is for facia blocks to become cracked and loose. The only solution for this is to remove old facia blocks completely and clean off loose cement.

Refix new facia and leave to set for a few days.

Finally install new aluminium liner for watertight finish.

Down pipes

To complement your new water tight guttering, new down pipes can also be fitted.*

* Old cast iron or plastic down pipes will be disposed of by Rainshield uk.

* Cement bonded asbestos pipes will be bagged and sealed for your disposal.

Roof vents

Another popular request is for roof vents to be installed to help prevent condensation in attic space. We can now supply and fit these products.
